Located in the heart of the wonderful city of Trieste, Al Garibaldino Rooms were completely renovated in September 2018 and furnished with all the modern comforts;

the historic soul of the building, however, has been respected, combining through the environments traditional and contemporary styles.

All the rooms are equipped with private bathroom, air conditioning, TV and Wi-Fi. The wideness of the spaces makes our structure perfect for families with children.

It is also possible to accomodate, previous request, your pet friends!

An ideal accommodation for anyone who wants to visit Trieste by foot

The Al Garibaldino Rooms are all in the center of Trieste, in a historic palace in Via Molino a Vento 3. The building, also called Palazzo del Garibaldino, was built in 1854 and renewed in 1930, year in which a floor was added from the famous architect Max Fabiani.

Al Garibaldino Rooms is a strategic accommodation if you want to visit Trieste by foot, due to its location in the historic center of the city, being distant only 1 kilometers from the beautiful Piazza Unità d’Italia and only 2 kilometers from the Central Train Station, which can be reached in a few minutes by bus or taxi (but also by foot, if you prefer a peaceful walk of about 20 minutes through the Borgo Teresiano).

Al Garibaldino Rooms faces Piazza Garibaldi, a characteristic site where you can stroll between traditional stands that populate the Piazza from the beginning of the ‘900s.

If, during your visit in Trieste, you wish to visit some attractions distant from the center, main bus stops that link the entire city are very close by.

Al Garibaldino Rooms is pet friendly! We will happily accommodate your pet friends but we ask you to communicate their presence beforehand, to ensure you and the other guests a comfortable stay. At the end of your visit your room will undergo a special sanitation process to guarantee maximum hygiene for future guests. For this reason an additional €10/day is asked to allow your pets to be accommodated.

If you need to stay in Trieste for health reasons, we are close to the main hospitals:

Ospedale Maggiore (distance: 600 meters, can be reached in 5 minutes by foot)

Burlo Garofolo Children’s Hospital (distance: 1.2 km, can be reached by foot in 15 minutes, by taxi in 2 minutes, by bus in 10 minutes with Line 37 or with Line 10, which both start from Piazza Garibaldi)

Cattinara Hospital (distance: 5.3 kilometers, can be reached by car or taxi in 10 minutes, by bus in 10 minutes with line 48, which is a direct line from Piazza Garibaldi to the hospital. The average waiting time for line 48 is 10-15 minutes)
